OxiClean is a brand which makes use of sodium percarbonate (also known as oxygen bleach), along with other additives, to remove stains on laundry, generally. Sodium percarbonate is a chemical made up of sodium carbonate (also known as washing soda, soda ash, and soda crystals) and hydrogen peroxide.

To make your own oxygen bleach cleaning product:

1 part water
1 part liquid soap nuts
1 part hydrogen peroxide
1 part washing soda

  • 1/2 cup per laundry load, no additional laundry detergent required.

Do not make ahead of time as it will lose effectiveness (one source claims as little as six hours).

You can replace the liquid soap nuts with more water if using in a multi hour soak, for example.
