The most popular image editing program, to the point that shop, photoshopping or shopping have become words for image editing in general. Image macros and other crap in 4chan/b/ are usually created with Photoshop, though Microsoft Paint (specifically the JPEG-capable Windows 2000/XP version) is often used as well. A common joke on /b/ is that a picture took x hours in MS Paint to make.
shoop
Due to the popularity of the SHOOP DA WHOOP meme, some people started calling shops shoops. It was an ugly trend that, thankfully, died -- along with the horrible meme that started it.
This picture is shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few shops in my life.
This meme is a reply to any shopped pictures, or pictures that have an unbelievable nature about them.
It all started when a poster asked for the name and style of the anime included in the obviously shopped picture that featured several young girls sitting around a table with a sign that said "stfu dyke". Someone replied with the line "This isn't a real anime! They aren't allowed to do this. This picture is shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few animes in my life.". People thought it was funny and the line was used many times with one or more words changed but "This picture is shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few shops in my life." was the only one that lived on, for reasons unknown.
The meme has been adapted in many macros, such as with Admiral Ackbar in the form of "This is a trap, I can tell...".
