Bandwagoning is the informal term for the phenomena of groups of people taking up new trends in mainstream society. Cocksucking is often a pejorative regarding bandwagoning, as those who move in the group can be seen as easily persuaded, feeble minded, highly impressionable, and thoughtless/uninsightful/ignorant.
