tl;dr is shorthand on 4chan for "too long; didn't read." This is used to show that the person being referred to is too long-winded and nobody cares what they have to say. In some instances, a person posting a long bit of writing may type "tl;dr" after finishing, followed by a basic summary (typically no more than a couple sentences) of what they wrote.
